Today, our Brandeis community gathered to honor the incredible bravery and sacrifice of our U.S. veterans, who risked everything to protect our nation.
The day began with two inspiring speakers: Sidney Goldberg, a dedicated Jewish War Veteran and department commander, and Syd Mandelbaum, a U.S. Air Force Veteran and founder of Rock and Wrap it Up! Their stories, rich with courage and commitment, moved us all.
Following their words, our students marched proudly in the community, standing shoulder to shoulder in unity with our veterans and active service members.
Today and every day, we honor and remember those who have served.
