Today, The Brandeis School hosted its annual schoolwide Model Seder hosted by our 6th grade students. In addition to welcoming our Early Childhood, Lower School and Middle School students, the school opened its doors to 20 Holocaust Survivors affiliated with the Gural JCC program.
The program included the reading of the Passover Hagaddah, singing the traditional holiday songs and a very emotional presentation by Roland Merton, who recalled his family’s experience of the Holocaust.
This beautiful seder reminded the Brandeis students and staff members the importance of keeping Jewish traditions alive and embracing every moment of freedom.
